Description Amico Apollo MedSurg (MS) Bed The Amico Apollo Med-Surg Bed features an ergonomic design to reduce injuries to both caregivers and patients. This includes a headboard that stays at the same height regardless of the bed articulation and low 16″ frame height to allow for safe bed entry and exit. The unique side rail design meets HBSW and IEC guidelines to help prevent patient entrapment. The upper side rails also contain the bed controls for patients and caregivers with patient lockout capability. The headboard is easily removable and may be used as a backboard for chest compressions. An emergency CPR lever is located at the head of the bed and the frame can be moved to a flat position with the push of a single button.
